Project Title:
Development of Knowledge Management System for IRC's Reproductive Program 2011 - 2020 (Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsada, Swat in KP)
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) implemented a multi-year Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Program (2011–2020) across five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, and Swat. To strengthen learning, documentation, and evidence-based decision-making, IRC contracted HIMAT Consulting Private Limited in 2019 to develop a comprehensive Knowledge Management System (KMS) for the SRH program. The initiative aimed to consolidate service delivery data, automate reporting, centralize documentation, and enhance program management through a robust, user-friendly digital solution.
HIMAT Consulting designed and deployed a fully integrated digital Knowledge Management System (KMS) for IRC’s multi-district SRH Program. The system included a centralized data warehouse capturing real-time service delivery information from health facilities across KP, paired with interactive dashboards and automated reporting on key SRH indicators. HIMAT also developed a secure document repository to house program reports, financial records, training manuals, event documentation, and pictorial evidence. In addition to system development, HIMAT provided capacity-building sessions for program staff to ensure effective system adoption and long-term usability. The assignment demonstrated HIMAT’s technical expertise, contextual understanding, and ability to deliver ICT-enabled health system strengthening solutions.
