Project Title:
Monitoring and Evaluation Support to the Asian Development Bank to Design and Verify Integrated Social Protection Programme in Pakistan
The Integrated Social Protection Programme of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aimed to enhance social protection systems in Pakistan. It focuses on strengthening BISP's policies, capacity, and services to reduce poverty among women and their families.
The program includes improving fiduciary management, developing an integrated management information system, enhancing grievance redressal mechanisms, expanding access to education and health services for beneficiaries, and creating a dynamic social registry for effective targeting, especially during disasters.
Aligned with the government's Ehsaas strategy, the program emphasizes sustainable poverty reduction and inclusive human capital development for vulnerable populations in Pakistan. Assess data collection, analysis, and reporting mechanisms. Stakeholder Consultations and Field Visits Develop recommendations for M&E system improvement. Support the national and international teams in the development of the results framework for ISDP.
