The Welthungerhilfe's ToGETHER Initiative, conducted in partnership with HIMAT Consulting, marked a significant milestone in enhancing the capabilities of local humanitarian partners in Pakistan. Through an intensive 5-day training program, participants were immersed in interactive sessions focused on contingency planning, administration and procurement, and human resource management.

The training sessions, enriched with real-world simulations and practical applications, empowered attendees to navigate complex humanitarian challenges effectively. Expert trainers facilitated engaging discussions and activities, ensuring active participation and fostering a conducive learning environment. Participant feedback underscored the program's success, highlighting the trainers' communication style, the relevance of real-life scenarios, and the opportunity for hands-on learning. Pre- and post-training assessments demonstrated substantial knowledge enhancement, affirming the program's impact.

Welthungerhilfe remained committed in its commitment to supporting local partners, reinforcing their preparedness to address humanitarian needs and contribute meaningfully to their communities, making this initiative a commendable collaborative endeavor in building a resilient humanitarian workforce in Pakistan.

HCPL provided the following services: Inception Meeting: The training process began with an inception meeting where HIMAT Consulting engaged with WHH representatives to understand their expectations and objectives thoroughly. During this meeting, HIMAT Consulting gathered insights into the specific requirements, target audience, and desired outcomes of the training program.

Training Agenda Development: Based on the discussions in the inception meeting, HIMAT Consulting developed a comprehensive training agenda. This agenda was designed to align with WHH’s goals and objectives. It included modules on contingency planning, administration and procurement, and human resource management, ensuring a holistic approach to capacity building.

Approval from WHH: Once the training agenda was developed, HIMAT Consulting presented it to WHH for approval. Their feedback and suggestions were incorporated, ensuring that the agenda precisely met their expectations and requirements.

Training Manual Creation: Following WHH’s approval, HIMAT Consulting developed a detailed training manual. This manual served as the backbone of the training sessions, providing participants with structured learning materials, activities, and resources.

Pre-Testing of Participant Knowledge: Before the training sessions commenced, HIMAT Consulting conducted a pre-test to assess the participants' baseline knowledge. This pre-test helped the team understand the participants’ existing understanding of the topics and allowed the training team to tailor the training delivery accordingly.

Facilitation of Training Sessions: The training sessions were conducted with active engagement and participation from the attendees. HIMAT Consulting utilized various instructional methods, including lectures, group activities, discussions, and real-world case studies, to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in contingency planning, administration and procurement, and human resource management.
